Yo:Ya
‘Yayo’ is a tale of loss and recovery from the perennial floods that occur in the riverine island of Majuli, Assam. 'Yayo', meaning 'grandmother' in the Mishing language, is an original short written and directed by Amalendu Kaushik. The debut short of the director, this film has gone to win many awards and nominations in film festivals across the country.
